Cranbrook Custom Homes, a luxury builder in Southeast Michigan, wanted to refresh their website and digital brand presence to reflect the beauty of their premium offering and to showcase their high-touch service.

Sonnenberg was commissioned to create an engaging, intuitive, and modern website that would attract new audiences and showcase the homebuilder’s stunning selection of homes, fueled by their unique, lifestyle-centered, design process.

To cement Cranbrook’s position as the regional leader in Southeast Michigan, the Sonnenberg team deployed an SEO strategy to own search engine rankings for neighborhoods in the target area.

Prospective home buyers discovering the Cranbrook website through these regional searches would be greeted by attractive visuals, rich storytelling, and compelling calls-to-action to schedule an appointment to tour a home.


Our goal was to create a modern, elegant and minimal interface that portrays the service as luxurious, yet accessible. The careful use of color supports those traits: The navy blue evokes elegance and maturity, while the teal color acts as a more youthful and bold accent, supported by the slanted lines.

We made a point to allot breathing room between elements to make the website feel “uncluttered” and spacious… like the perfect home.
